Welcome to the website for the Sew Happy Carnation Quilt Guild. The Quilt Guild was formed in 1991 and currently has approximately 30 members from the surrounding Alliance, OH area. The guild meets the fourth Monday of every month at 7 pm at the Abiding Saviour Lutheran Church on Sawburg Avenue. Work days are scheduled for the second Monday of the month from September to May at 4 pm at the Abiding Savior Lutheran Church. Quilters from beginners to experienced are welcome to join or just visit us. The guild supports the Home of the Brave Program which is for the fallen soldiers of the State of Ohio, the Alliance Domestic Violence Shelter and numerous other charitable organizations. are celebrating "50 Years of Quilting" at the Rodman Public Library Branch
at the Carnation Mall on August 8 from 9 am to 3 pm.. Congratulations
to the Carnation Festival for 50 years of success. Come see our
demonstrations, mini quilt show and help us quilt. We are setting up a
quilt frame complete with top, batting and backing to allow our visitors the
opportunity to quilt. Don't know how? Want to learn how to hand
quilt? Come visit us, we will teach you. Have questions about a
technique, tool or process, ask us, if we don't know the answer we will find
it for you. We will look for you. |
