Welcome to the website for the Sew Happy Carnation Quilt Guild. The Quilt Guild was formed in 1991 and currently has approximately 30 members from the surrounding Alliance, OH area.  The guild meets the fourth Monday of every month at 7 pm at the Abiding Saviour Lutheran Church on Sawburg Avenue. Work days are scheduled for the second Monday of the month from September to May at 4 pm at the Abiding Savior Lutheran Church. Quilters from beginners to experienced are welcome to join or just visit us.

The guild supports the Home of the Brave Program which is for the fallen soldiers of the State of Ohio, the Alliance Domestic Violence Shelter and numerous other charitable organizations. 

Fellow quilters, it is tea time once again, Saturday, February 13, 2010 at 10 AM at the Alliance Country Club, Alliance, Ohio.  We have a wonderful speaker this year, Teri Tope.  She is a designer and quilter.  Her program this year, "Girl with a Checkered Past and a Future in Pieces" will take you through a humorous journey in life through quilting.  She is the author of a new book, "Applique in Reverse" showing how to make intricate hand-applique designs easily.
