                                                              A Surprising Inheritance

Every family has an interesting, colorful character or two. Gwen's  Aunt Beth was a classic. She was an extremely intelligent person, rather eccentric, to say the least, with a few passions in her life.  Collecting quilts and studying quilts was one of her passions! Gwen will share humorous stories  about her aunt and showcase the many fascinating and unique quilts she received after her aunt passed away.  Ladies will be treated to some rare and truly lovely quilts!

Gwen began quilting in 1992. She has been a member of Sew Happy Carnation Quilters, Buckeye Janes, and Joyful Piecemakers. She leads a class at Anna Louisa's Needlearts in Louisville, OH. She enjoys traveling with her husband, visiting quilt shops and shows.  She has two married daughters and 5 grandchildren.

The tea will be held at the Alliance Country Club located at  725 East Milton Drive, Alliance, OH at 10 am on February 11, 2012.  Reservations are due by February 4, 2012.  Checks in the amount of $20. per person should be made payable to the Sew Happy Carnation Quilt Guild and mailed to Kathy Wolf, 1732 Lilly Lane, Alliance, OH 44601.  Muffins, coffee and tea will be provided with a noon luncheon to follow.  The luncheon menu includes Bittiger salad with grilled chicken, country club sundaes and coffee or hot or iced tea.
