CHALLENGE RULES

Design and then construct any type of fabric project using a reasonable, recognizable amount of the Challenge Fabric.  Your project can be a wall hanging, garment, home dec item, soft sculpture, etc. You are only limited by your imagination.

Item should be no smaller than 12"X 18" and no larger than 36" X 48".

The Challenge Fabric must be used on the FRONT, TOP, or OUTSIDE of the project.  You may use unlimited other fabrics of your choice to finish your project.

A significant portion of your project MUST be quilted on any type of machine or by hand.

The item MUST include 3-D embellishment and must be securely anchored to your project.  Consider yo yos, fabric folding, fabric manipulation, buttons, ribbons, trims, prairie points, something added that the project is not entirely FLAT.

And NAME your finished project. Attach a 3X5 piece of paper to it with the name you have given it (not your name). Another way to be creative and let us know what inspired your creation.

Bring it to the November meeting in a brown grocery bag and don't show it to anyone.  We will keep them anonymous until after the judging.  November meeting is at AnnaLouise's Quilt Shop in Louisville.   The owner and employees will be the judges.  If you cannot attend the meeting, send your entry with someone else.

Prizes!!!!!! awarded to completely finished projects.
