The Annual Get Away Weekend was held on Friday, October 26 and Saturday October 27 at the Abiding Lutheran Church.  Thank you to the committee, Nancy Green, Cheryl Hoff, Fran Oblander and Ellen Wilson, for the wonderful job done with selecting the projects and organizing the event.

Friday began with the attendees working on stained glass projects that did not include any sewing.  A pumpkin, leaf and turkey pattern were available that could be used individually or combined as a table runner or wall hanging .

Special kits of small wool projects were provided on Friday night for the fast workers that finished their stained glass project.

Saturday was for the mystery project "a quilt-as-you-go" table runner project.  Everyone was surprised with the results. Lots of fun was had by all with most leaving with completed projects.

Make sure you attend the regular November meeting to view the finished products.

There was lots of good food and fun for everyone.  We look forward to next year.
