Welcome to the website for the Sew Happy Carnation Quilt Guild. The Quilt Guild was formed in 1991 and currently has approximately 30 members from the surrounding Alliance, OH area.  The guild meets the fourth Monday of every month at 7 pm at the Abiding Savior Lutheran Church on Sawburg Avenue. Work days are scheduled for the second Monday of the month from September to May at 4 pm at the Abiding Savior Lutheran Church. Quilters from beginners to experienced are welcome to join or just visit.

The guild supports the Home of the Brave Program which is for the fallen soldiers of the State of Ohio, the Alliance Domestic Violence Shelter and numerous other charitable organizations.

We sponsored the 20th Anniversary meeting for NEORQC on October 4 at St. Paul's Lutheran Church.  A great time was had by all.  A very special thank you to the NEORQC quilt shops for providing the door prizes for the anniversary celebration and to St. Paul's Lutheran Church for allowing us to use the facility.  We appreciate your support.  Prizes from the NEORQC Shop Hop were given out with everyone completing the shop hop receiving a prize.   Thank you to the organizers.  You did a great job.

Finished products from the Fabric Challenge at the September meeting are due in November.  Remember to bring them in a brown paper bag to AnnaLouisa's in Louisville.  Their staff will do the judging. The rules are easy. Click here to read the rules.
